1966 Chevrolet Biscayne, Tuxedo Black

This one is one of Ertl's best efforts in quite some time. Of course those correct but fairly homely poverty caps had to go in favor of some Chevy rally rims and black wall tires. The car doesn't have much trim to chrome but that sinister sleeper look works well with very little chrome.

The tailpipe tips got a bit of black. Ertl detailed it pretty well with a chrome trunk lock bezel and trim on the tail lights.

Ertl did not continue their efforts under the hood very much. They did include hoses and wires so that's nice but here I've detailed the master cylinder body, washer bottle, battery, water neck, lower radiator hose and the wiper motor.

The interior was pretty well done so about all I've added here is chrome to the shifter boot trim ring.

This area got plenty of attention with detailing done to the gas tank straps, driveshaft, panhard rod, front and rear sway bars, steering linkage, rear shocks and the transmission tail shaft cover.

Enjoy Brad!
