This is one of Ertl's latest and one of their better efforts. There isn't a lot of trim to add to a Biscayne but I added what is appropriate. In black this almost looks like a cop car.

The only exterior trim I added are the front and rear window trim and the trim around the tail lights. The tail light trim was painted but as always chrome foil looks a lot better. Ertl is doing better with their paint as the black paint job on this car demonstrates.

Just like the exterior, the engine is rather plain. I added a few extra painted details. The orange engine has a nice strong contrast to the black of the engine compartment.

I didn't add anything in the interior. It was nicely done by Ertl. I have to wonder if a plain jane Biscayne would have typically had an expensive simulated wood wheel though. It looks nice either way and they were available optionally.

There is lots of suspension and steering components that benefit from detailing. The rear has the panhard rod, anti-sway bar and shocks that all get some color.
