Here are a few of
my favorite links to diecast related sites I like to frequent.
If you would like to submit a request to have your own site listed
here, see the instructions below. Thanks!
- One of the best
and most visited diecast discussion boards
there is.
- A huge number
of additional "community" features such as a chat room,
links to the major diecast manufacturers, trivia, auction and
classifieds ads pages. Also included are modeling tips and detailing
tips pages as well as model reviews and a locator tool.
- The Links section
also includes links to many other diecast dealers, modifiers
and enthusiast sites.
- Specializing in
diecast collectible cars in the popular 1:18 scale. This site
offers most major brands of diecast at reasonable prices with
preordering services available. This site boasts one of the most
extensive offerings of diecast muscle cars available.
- Community features
such as pictures of Reader's Rides and 1:18 to 1:1 comparisons.
- Auction and discussion
board services are also available.
- Kevin Pickell's
world famous Huge List of just about every 1:18 scale diecast
car ever made is featured here. Almost every car listed that
has been release has a picture available.
- The site emphasizes
all types of 1:18 diecast with a strong Euro car presence missing
in many of the other sites.
- Discussion board
which focuses on the entire world of diecast, but with a preference
to the Euro models.
Roadrunner's American
Muscle Diecast
- Randy is another
regular on the Stage-1 discussion boards. Randy was one of the
founders of the famous Car of the Month poll and he still helps
to maintain the poll. He also maintains the Muscle car poll on
his site and a link to the COTM can be found there as well.
- Roadrunner's site
has a news section that will be of great interest to anyone in
the 1:18 diecast collecting hobby. I don't know how he gets the
news before anyone else, but his news posts are often the most
timely around.
- There are many
indexes of photos of many, many Ertl diecast cars. Many of the
subjects include limited edition cars. The news section features
lots of pictures of the recently or soon to be released cars
from most 1:18 diecast makers.
- The site also
has some great links to little-known sites which feature lots
of modified and detailed diecast.
- Randy's site also
now has it's own diecast discussion board.
Gregory's Diecast Site
- This is a hobby
site featuring pictures of the collection of a fellow collector
in Belgium. He has many European cars as well as a nice collection
of American muscle.
- Attached to the
site is a sister site dedicated to 1:1 cars, check it out.
Egaad's
Collectibles
- Offering a wide
variety of LE 1/18 Muscle cars, and assorted 1:18 Sprints from
GMP also many 1/24 AA Fuelers and Funny Cars from Action.
- Features of this
site include: Links page, Camaros in 1:18, the NEWS (updated
often), and Featuring LE Ertl's from Supercar Collectibles, Lane

118 Motors
- 118 Motors is
a review site, which is constantly updating. Featuring three
to ten pics of each car reviewed, with numerous angles.
- 118 Motors features
a Links section, a "Where to Buy" section, with reccomendations
about where are the best places to buy the models.
- There is also
a What's Coming section, where the models that are to be reviewed
are displayed.
