January 2001: About two years ago I was chosen to do chrome detailing on the MTR very limited edition run of their High Detail Shadow Grey 1970 Chevelle SS396 offering. It was a great success and they sold out very quickly. Well, more recently MTR contacted me again to see if I'd like to detail 100 more cars with not only chrome details but with mag wheels and stripes. Four hundred more cars will be detailed with just stripes and wheels (no chrome) but I'm only doing the 100 High Detail cars. Pictured below you can see about the first 20% of the 100 which have receive the chrome detailing and below that a tub of disassembled wheels. We're still waiting for the stripes and mags to arrive but I have well over half the 100 chromed already.

August 2001: Well! Finally the wheels have arrived! They've decided to have someone else do the stripes so I'll be snapping on some wheels and shipping the cars out in the next few days.

10:28/00: To be honest, I've really no idea where this project is going but it will have tons of detail such as custom paint, plumbing and wiring and full race equipment and look. This project only gets a little attention now and then so it won't be done anytime soon. Take a look above to see why it's on the back burner! And no, it isn't a Yat Ming Camaro, far from it!
